Psalm 90:12 (NIV)
“Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.”
Challenges we face impact us in big ways. But even those pain points can be used to shape us for God’s glory. Listen in to this episode, where Daniel, Denise’s oldest son (child #3) shares how the struggles of childhood—insecurity and sadness, were turned into the strengths of being others-centered and a confidence in Christ and the role homeschooling played in developing his faith and calling.
This year, as we celebrate Christmas, may we remember that the gifts of Christmas are not just on Christmas day, but all throughout our lives.

Daniel, you crack me up young man! Hilarious! “I can be shredding the slopes while you guys are in school; because I’m home schooled!” 🤣
Way to use creativity to create the life you want out of the mess of the family situation you went through growing up. Now you’re using that creative gift to bring joy, laughter and hope to others. I’m proud of you Daniel! Keep your standards high and always endeavor to bring glory to God. I bet you had the coolest Mom in your class too, huh? Oh, yeah, I forgot…you were home schooled! 😁
Thank you, Jeff! Daniel definitely was a creative one and made the best out of situations. I thank God for him and all of my sweet children. Grateful!
Awesome in so many ways! It gives me great joy!!! Thanks both if you for sharing!
Thank you, Trina! Thank you for your part in the puzzle of God’s miraculous grace.
