1 Peter 4:10 (ESV)
“As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.”
This month my kids are visiting me on the podcast to talk about the gifts God gives us not just as Christmas, but every day. Listen in to this interview with my second son, Samuel, as he shares how worship and helping others have been gifts from God.
This year, as we celebrate Christmas, may we remember that the gifts of Christmas are not just on Christmas day, but all throughout our lives.
Samuel, I’m so proud of you, young man! It was great to hear you and your Mom on this podcast and to hear you share how much worship, fellowship and family mean to you. I also know your Mom (and the rest of your family) are grateful for your servant’s heart and desire to be a “helper” to others; whether it’s helping out with audio or video, etc. at concerts and conferences, making meals (your Mom says you are a good cook!) or getting her coffee in the morning, just generally helping out or rubbing her feet (that’s going the extra mile; Sam!). Way to go! May you always keep Christ first in your life and use your heart and gifts of serving and helps to be a blessing to others.
Thank you, Jeff! Samuel had fun doing it!
