“Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up in honor.”

The answer to shame is not found in pride, but humility. The only reason we are free from shame is the grace and faithfulness of God. Shame tries to point us back to who we were before Christ, but humility points us back to the One who our lives really are all about—Jesus. Denise and her husband live near Fredericksburg, VA. A homeschool mom of five with four in college, Denise has a passion to help moms navigate motherhood with grace and courage. An advocate for children, her youngest was adopted from Russia. When Denise is not ministering at conferences, she is leading worship on Sundays at her home church, studying God’s word, writing books or songs, gardening or spending time with family and friends. Angela Donadio is an international speaker, recording artist, and best-selling published author of “Finding Joy When Life is Out of Focus: A Study of Philippians for Joy-Thirsty Women.” As the founder of Voice of the Voiceless, she advocates for deprived pastor’s wives and children in Africa. A survivor of two near-death experiences, she is passionate about motivating others to “Make Your Life Matter No Matter What.”
