“You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!”
It’s easy to think about bad things that can happen. Fears that tend to govern our thought life. We can worry about the “what if’s” and rob ourselves of peace. Listen in as Dr. Lane Cohee and I discuss his new book, “The Disquieted Soul” and learn how to escape the disquiet of your own soul by changing the voice you hear.
Do you have peace? Real peace in your mind and life? We can have the peace that Christ promises, even in chaotic times. The beginning of escaping disquietude is changing the voice we hear and the thought life we willingly participate in. We don’t often filter or actively take hold of many of the thoughts that run through our mind. Pain and shame keep us bound, but we do have a choice of what we think on.
Don’t just go with the flow. Challenge the disquiet in your soul.
