Just wanted to post to give an update and say hi! My silence this week is due to technological issues, transferring to a new website, internet outages and planning. Posting will resume on Monday and I can’t wait to share what God has been showing me in His Word. He is always faithful!
Newsletter! Lots of exciting news coming in next month’s newsletter. If you haven’t signed up, or if you missed last month’s, I will have a link to last month’s newsletter in February’s edition. The newsletter offers different content than here and an opportunity to participate in what God is doing with Seeing Deep Ministries. Come join the party as we celebrate God’s goodness and a FREEBIE!
Feedback. Lastly, let me know what you would like me to post about. Is there something you are wanting to focus more on in your relationship with God? Let me know in the comments section below. WARNING: I have been contemplating a political series – could get hot in here. 🙂
I appreciate each one of you and hope this space will be a place where we can explore the deep things of God together, often with humor and candor. See you next Monday!
Hi Denise,
Your writing is spot on, and I appreciate your vulnerability. I have a question about necessary endings. When God finally opens our eyes to relationships that need to end around us, how can we be sure, and how can we learn to trust God in the unknown world of new direction?
Hi Sonya,
Thank you, Sonya. I really appreciate your coming by and sharing – wow, three great topics, both so needed today. Just as Paul “learned” the secret of being content, so we, do, too, as well as learning to trust in God with every aspect of our lives – especially when life is complicated. Wait – when is life not complicated? LOL.
As Christians, we can feel guilty when our trust waivers, but God is not about dry religious duty in this area – He wants to show Himself trustworthy in relationship with us. Thank God it isn’t a religious guilt trip – we can learn to trust God more and He even is willing to help us trust. I look forward to exploring Trust in God, Necessary endings, as well as discernment of His will in our lives. Thank you for visiting with me today!
It would be interesting to see a series done on joy versus happiness.
I have enjoyed everything you have done so far and believe God will guide you in what to do next.
GREAT topic, Tom! I agree that God will guide me, and love that process – He always surprises me! 🙂 Just trying to see if there is a need I can meet out there and see how I can best serve. Thanks for stopping in, brother!
Yikes.. politics. I’d love to hear your insight. I find myself just plain confused. I am open minded and have compassion for all people. I want to stay grounded in the word and obedient to God. How do I love another AND protect my family. I know I know, Trust God above all things. Help us understand how you conquered FEAR. Bless you!
Wow, Lori. Great thoughts. I will be tackling these subjects, by the grace of God and hope they will be an encouragement. As for conquering fear – this is a constant process before my God. But I have learned a lot when I have struggles only to see my Abba Father calling me to rest in Him. More soon! Thanks for visiting with me. 🙂
