When we are dry and hopeless, God reminds us of an eternal view where His hope is endless. God restores and redeems what seems dead and lifeless. Ezekiel 37 has always been one of my favorite scenes in the Bible. God fights our battles. But sometimes we don’t let Him. We try to fight them on our own. When we are surrounded, if we will surrender to God instead of our fear, God will do miracles. God supplies what we need when we need it.
We are reading from Leviticus 17-20 and the Bible is not mincing words about God’s expectation about sexual practices and holiness. We are called to be separate in a world that bids us to conform.
