Thankful Thought:
Gratitude recognizes our deep need of God.
Need is a tough word for our flesh. It is humbling. And we don’t like having to be dependent on someone else. But when we see that we have needs, we are grateful when God fulfills them. It might not be our wants that He fulfills, but He is faithful to know just what we need.
Our greatest need of all was for salvation. May we never forget that we who were once enemies of God have been given mercy. Eternally grateful, indeed.
