“The hope of the righteous brings joy but the expectation of the wicked will perish.”

The formation of joy takes some preparation and cultivation of our minds and hearts. Merely telling someone to be happy is not enough to cultivate or produce real joy. Cultivating joy cannot depend on our flesh choosing to be joyful, either. That is a set up for failure. But we can cultivate joy intentionally through hope, God’s word, prayer and help from the Holy Spirit. Listen in as Denise shares some strategies to cultivate joy that lasts.
