Faith in His Word keeps us from shame.

Psalm 119:42
“So that I may have an answer for the man who would put me to shame; for I have faith in your word.”
The gift of faith is a shield for those who exercise it. Faith extinguishes the arrows from the enemy and the fiery darts targeting us with shame. When we are under siege by others who would seek to shame us, we have a refuge. More than that, we have an apt answer when we wait on God Who is our Defender.
Shame seeks to limit and define us, but when we walk in faith, we overcome shame with the truth of God’s word.
