In this fallen world, we struggle with insecurities and attempt to find our worth in so many things. As I was writing this song, my desire was to write a pure worship song that proclaimed how worthy our God is. I quickly discovered there was no way I could ever fully do that. But I also had another interesting discovery . . . we find our worth when we do what we were made to do . . . declare His worth!

We were made in His image – the image of God – and He gave us His identity. We are children of God!

Our God is worthy of all our praise, but what does that mean? Sometimes we can sing songs without truly contemplating what we are singing. Our great God is worthy for so many reasons . . .

He covered our sins. He took our blame. He redeemed us from the condemnation. He saved us completely forever. He removed our shame. Won’t you praise the LORD with me now?
