I’ve been meditating on this Scripture this past week when I experienced rejection from man.
I’ve sought to make š¬šØš¦ššš”š¢š§š of myself and my Savior sought to make Himself š§šØšš”š¢š§š .
Don’t get me wrong, we live in a competitive world and give our best for the glory of God. But that’s just it, right there . . . for the glory of God.
This singular motivation can help our hearts when we experience rejection or don’t achieve something we wanted. If what we do is truly for the glory of God, then He takes that offering and is pleased, whether or not man is.
So, then, there should be no discouragement if we gave the best we could. And none of our work is in vain when it is done in the LORD. God is molding usāchanging usātransforming us to be more like Him through it all. Now what an incredible achievement that is. God taking fallen man and making Him more like Himself. Now, that is š¬šØš¦ššš”š¢š§š .
God can make š¬šØš¦ššš”š¢š§š from š§šØšš”š¢š§š when we yield our lives to Him.
May this be our goalānot temporary success in this world, but faithfulness to live for One and working hard for His gloryāand being content with whatever God chooses to do with our offering.
When we seek to make š¬šØš¦ššš”š¢š§š of our ourselves, we will be disappointed somewhere along the way.
But when we choose to make š§šØšš”š¢š§š of ourselves, God will meet us in that place and lift us up for His glory and our good. What a God!
