Proverbs 14:1 (NIV):

“The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down.”

This month we are discussing “Real Womanhood ~ Expectations VS Reality” in our varied roles as women and how our expectations affect our ability to carry out our roles well. Sometimes the expectations this world or even we place on ourselves can become a discouraging taskmaster. But have no fear – author and speaker Liz Curtis Higgs is here – to encourage us in our many varied roles as women. Listen in as Denise and Liz discuss what a wise woman looks like.

Liz is an award-winning speaker as well as the author of thirty-seven books, including her nonfiction bestsellers, Bad Girls of the Bible and The Women of Christmas. Her Parable Treasury Series for children has been awarded the ECPA Gold Medallion for Excellence, and her historical novel, Whence Came a Prince, won a Christy Award.

And today we are going to be looking at Liz’s book, ‘It’s Good to Be Queen” and how it relates to what we are discussing today: “Real Womanhood: The Wise Woman”.
