Thankful Thought of the Day:
Gratitude fills our hearts with peace.
Peace. Just hear that word right now. Close your eyes and drink in the quiet around you (if you can find it). Let go of the turmoil and go to a higher place . . .
Found in the quiet place of our hearts as we choose to give our cares to God and adopt gratitude, instead.
Life has problems. Real problems. But we don’t have to wish our problems away. We can have peace at all times as we let the peace of Christ rule in our hearts.
The key to that peace is found in a thankful heart. A discontent attitude will steal our gratitude and our peace. But we have a choice . . . the word, “let” reminds us that peace is available to those who let it rule in their hearts above other attitudes that rob us of peace, joy and gratitude.
Colossians 3:15
“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.”
