The Power of Humility
Our flesh resists being humbled. We don’t want someone else to put us down. It is this natural reflex that does not want to believe we are less than. And yet God has already delivered us from shame. But the power of humility sets us free from prideful shame.
Behind shame is ultimately a focus on self and pride because we fear what others will think of us. But it is admitting that we are not enough is what brings us to the place of seeing our need and opens the doorway for God to restore our honor.

Angela is a Bible teacher, author, artist, and advocate. She loves Jesus and wants to see women make their life matter for Him. And she writes and speaks with one purpose: to help you ground your worth in the Word rather than the narrative of the world. She weaves Biblical truths, two decades of ministry experience, and insights from two near-death health crises, into resources that encourage you to encounter God in everyday, and even messy, moments. As the Founder of Voice of the Voiceless, Angela works in remote parts of Africa to empower rural women through micro-enterprise opportunities and the message of the Gospel.
