We’ve all likely heard the phrase, “Shame On You” at some point in our lives. We might try to shrug it off, but it leaves a residue on our souls that needs to be dealt with. Listen and watch the video above to learn what shame is, what it does, how it happens, why we need to rid our lives of it and how we do. Shame Off You in the new year, friend!

While this topic is something we would rather not talk about, hiding shame does not heal it. When we deal with it biblically, we are set free. We can choose humility over humiliation and like Christ, choose to disregard it. “We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne” (Hebrews 12:2, NLT).
