When we are willing to humble ourselves and admit our shame, God completely forgives us and removes our shame.

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
It is hard to admit when we are wrong because our flesh is prideful. It is equally as hard when someone wrongs you and does not admit their wrongdoing. But in both cases, we can expose shame and deal with it biblically.
If the Holy Spirit convicts us, when we are willing to acknowledge and confess our sins, shame is removed. When others try to place shame on us, the Holy Spirit can illumine our understanding and we can let go of that shame, too.
