Choosing to stay is hard.

Choosing to stay and become whole is a hard choice, though far easier than not doing so. But when we walk with Christ through life’s drama, we can face anything as we abide in His strength and grace. We know from Scripture that this is the secret to abiding peace, but staying is not so easy.

Psalm 62:5-8 (ESV)

“For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him. 6 He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be shaken. 7 On God rests my salvation and my glory; my mighty rock, my refuge is God. 8 Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us.”

Choosing to stay makes us whole.

When we choose to stay in God’s presence we discover wholeness in Christ. God is with us, but when we choose to be with Him through all of life’s pain, we become whole again.

Choosing to stay is possible.

How do we stay when we constantly shift and drift? Listen in as Denise Pass continues a discussion of the book, “Stay: Discovering Grace, Freedom, and Wholeness Where You Never Imagined Looking” with author Anjuli Paschall and learn how to find peace with pain and all life sends our way as we abide in Christ.
