My Heart, Ever His
Feel far away from God? You don’t have to stay there. God is inviting us to come just as we are. This month we have been discussing drawing nearer to God in everyday life. Listen in to this interview with Barbara Rainey shares about her new book, “My Heart Ever His” and the prayers that she penned in her journey to draw nearer to God.
1 Samuel 1:11 (NIV)
“And she made a vow, saying, “LORD Almighty, if you will only look on your servant’s misery and remember me, and not forget your servant but give her a son, then I will give him to the LORD for all the days of his life, and no razor will ever be used on his head.”
Drawing Near to God Requires Transparency.
Openness and raw transparency is not easy, but we cannot truly draw near if we have walls.
Drawing Near to God Requires Honesty.
But honesty does not condemn us.
